Journal entry 8:

In my travels to discover the the locations Daedric relics, I've heard talk of other items of great value and power. I have added such stories to my notes and will check on them when I can.

Right now, I am checking on one such rumour - that of the "Dragon priests" of Skyrim, and of their legendary masks of power. Whether these items are truly as the tales suggest, or if they even exist is still to be seen.

So far, I have run into nothing but the undead - known as Draugr to the locals - and a lot of spiders. Not to mention those "Skeever" vermin.

Still, I shall continue my search - at least for as long as my blade and my spells last. I must have used my shock spells more times in the last two days that I used to in a month.

This entire land seems out to kill, which suits me fine.

I just hope it's up to the challenge...
