Suggestion: Would steel-toe-tips and/or heel guards on the boots be appropriate for this armour? I think it would look good and just add that little bit of extra functionality to the boots, where it does honestly look slightly bland at the moment. Although, great stuff overall, definitely one of my favourite armour mods on the Nexus and it's not even half done! Really looking forward to seeing and playing with more of this. I swear, out of all the armour modders on here, I think you are the most improved in a long while.
Also, I have not seen the gloves/gauntlets yet, however, if not already in the design, I feel that rounded steel knuckles would be a nice addition. Good for beating down Thieves Guild scum and good for interrogations, those two go hand in hand for sure. Maven, would sure find a good use for reinforced knuckles, from beating down any opposition, to 'converting' unwilling guards to her cause.
Anyway, good luck on this, as I said, looking forward to more and I don't think there's another mod on the Nexus now that I am currently more hyped about seeing the updates for.
Oh and side note, I have been working on a huge armour and weapon mod merge patch with TES5edit, and I ultra appreciate that you release each set as an individual plugin. Makes it a much less frustrating experience. Thank you!
Steel knuckles is a great idea, but only if the gloves are fingerless (in my opinion). As for the boots, I like the idea of a steel knee pad on each; not too big though, and a diamond/ rhombus shape. I feel like it would go well with the Rift landscape...
Riften is a very poor city. The leather parts should look more ragged after years of abuse by rough guards occasionally brawling with "fake thieves" flooding the streets.
On one of the other pictures for this set, someone commented that there should be a single shoulder plate, but some others kinda shot him down...
While don't disagree with him, I think it would be best if there were two, but one being larger/ more ornate than the other one. That's my opinion at least...
Will there be a cowl/hood with this and maybe lil bit of dark black-ish fur to it *like on top of the shoulder armor? :3 It Would be cool to see, btw a Rogue Variant of this w/o the metal bits would be epic since this armor is very smooth and has a sly appeal to it. Anyways good work as always ^_^
looks awesome (although id recommend replacing the blue with purple, so it looks a little more riften-ish) it would be cool if you made an armor plated hood for the head gear.
Might have been me lol. Just thought it suited with the Rift ranger kind of look, seeing as the Rift is all trees at the foot of mountains. Light protection without restricting movement and sight is key
I find that your armors look more and more like you are getting inspired by Oblivion's armor art style, and mesh style - but improving on them 10 fold and that's really a great thing!
