Not the best of images after all the compressing, but just watch the terrain develop.
Personally, I'm using 9, unless you are in the mountains all the time you can't see that far off. Also there is the script issues beyond 9.
The fps is actually higher in game, I don't run around with FRAPS running all the time, so you can actually add about 5 fps back.
