what am I seeing here (aside from frighteningly badass) This would be a great dremora remake. (it bothers me that they all wear daedric armor, since it's made from the heart of a dead daedra) This would be a great option as a replacer, or as an avatar of a daedra lord, even. Nice shot.
What you are seeing here is a Xivilai, one of many "lesser" daedra. They are like dremora, but don't have a caste system, and likewise hate subordination, and have a tendency for betrayal.
With the betrayal thing in mind, I'm not too bothered by them having daedric armour. I see it as a trophy of sorts. Kill or be killed and all that. Especially since they usually come under the service of Mehrunes Dagon, and therefore reside in the Deadlands, where the humanoid daedra often attacked and killed their lesser daedra for funsies. Death is merely temporary for daedra in Oblivion; a minor annoyance, even.
