Loved the banter between the characters and it gave a very loving family festive feeling to it, and to a certain level reminded me of the festive season when I was younger.
Another great chapter sorry for taking so long to get to read it, if my minds not focused I'll save it to read later though I get there eventually. Appreciate your work and effort you put into these stories I know well enough the screen shots you do are not so straight forward and you have great skill in making them without even mentioning your writing talents.

Well, Dannee is a type of a person who would never ask directly for anything, like organizing a holiday for her, she is shy but luckily her friends know her well enough to understand what she needs.
Sam indeed has done a very good thing for Dannee, he loves to see her happy and confident, so his gesture sure helped her greatly to raise her self esteem.
It’s interesting how happy Sam was to see Serana, even if it was just to talk to her about what happened with Dannee it’s still better than the bitter hatred they used to have for one another!
Hahaha, I love that Serana’s baking is so bad. I guess it’s because as a vampire she doesn’t eat much?? The conversation between Sam and Serana that went over Sofie’s head was also cute; their pseudo-sexual remarks totally above the little girl’s knowledge!
I think Dannee was genuinely surprised and happy with Sam and Serana both for making the effort to let her have her fantasy ‘family’ holiday. But as Serana pointed out to Sam, how much of his ‘playing the family’ was simply to sate his own lust with Dannee at the end of the night? Her comments were very well-aimed and seemed to penetrate Sam’s stubborn mind. I wonder if his sweet words and presentation of roses were a result of Serana’s words and whether he was trying to prove to Serana (and himself) that he wants more than Dannee as a sexual partner. I still don’t know whether he really believes that himself.
And the real question is… did he get Dannee away privately after the party??
Yeah, strangely Sam became something like buddies with Serana, though they perfectly aware of each other bad traits and have complicated relationship.
Yeah, Serana doesn't eat much, though in Tamriel vampires can consume usual food (it was confirmed by Babbette who said she enjoyed Gourmet recipes). But there is other thing, Serana is prideful so she won't admit easily that her bakery is all that bad. Glad that you liked sexual remarks between Sam and Serana, it was very fun to write, luckily Sofie did not understand a thing.
Dannee was indeed surprised at her friends efforts to make her a real "family" holiday. And Sam... well, there is more than lust in his intentions, though of course he is lustful (after all he is like is very manifestation of lust and debauchery). He just likes to have Dannee all for himself (not only in lustful way), preferring not to share her attention on such day with anyone else so that's why he remembered previous Chil's with such fondness for Dannee was like completely dependent on him that time and that of course was more than pleasing to his ego. Still you are right, he tried to prove to Serana and himself that he wants Dannee in more ways than his sexy plaything. Which kinda obvious, since he enjoys Dannee's company in more ways than one and done too many things for her to count it as just his passionate indulgence.
And yeah, Sam got Dannee to private party that night, but not before she parted her ways with Sofie and Serana at Sofie's home, getting girl to sleep and wishing goodnight for Serana, so it was a heck of a wait for him.
Very nice gift he gave her though, pointing out that she is loved and cared for. There is more to love and life than just a partner after all. Friends, family, and community are all important.

Sam indeed made a wonderful gift to Dannee, once again addressing her issue of being unwanted, or wanted only as some kind of mercenary with supernatural powers.
