    Sticky
Sorry for all the confusion folks - somehow the original post got cross-linked to someone else's Oblivion image and all the comments were being cross posted between the two images (completely unrelated so they made no sense). It took me a few tries to break the link and in the end had to make a brand new post and deleted the old post. Hopefully it is all working okay now.

Enjoy and thanks to everyone who endorsed/commented twice - much appreciation

    Admirable work Wolf !

I enjoyed, especially the role of Wolfgar, this little wolf always impress me !
I think Erik made ??the right choice to meet these repugnant "men" but I wonder what Erik will be able to face to the powerful Molag Bal. I also liked the way or Erik sees the Wolves and gets the necessary strength, excellent

This end, what a supens !
I look forward to see more.

Thank you Basstos, and I appreciate the effort it must take to read these as I know it isn't in your main language! I am a big fan of dogs and wolves (and cats and ... well most animals) so I like to give them a starring role whenever I can

Very glad you enjoyed these stories!

I find your story so well done that it is a pleasure !
I understand this love for animals, they are so amazing, nature and animals are probably the most beautiful things that exist on earth

Amazing work Wolf, you sure are setting us up for wonderful confrontation.

Nice perspective from Wolfgars POV with the voices instructing him along the way. I thought the pits might get mentioned at some point and I'm glad little Wolfgar didn't end up down there, in the hands of the pit master. Erik to the rescue and nice that he could use his brains and not brawn to get out of that situation.
Again Erik using his brain once inside, hopefully surprise might give him a little advantage in the up and coming confrontation to save our Grim !

Epic work m8 well done, guess I just missed this last night.

I suspect the confrontation will be a bit shorter since I tend to do better with general content then action :-)

Erik is hoping their over-confidence and focus on the ritual will give him an edge I suspect. Hopefully he will come to the rescue before any permanent damage is done!

Thanks for the feedback and glad you are enjoying the stories!

    I am speechless!
This is the best story i`ve ever read!
    I´m so very touched!
When Wolfgar hid in the corner, his eyes filled with tears, cause he thought he failed, i could not hold back my tears!
You made me cry Jonathan! I can`t believe it.
You Sir, are a great storyteller!
Wonderful images! The one, when Erik and Wolfgar reached the entrance of the abandoned home is so cute! Wolfgars paws...aww!

Wow Forrest not sure if that is a good thing or not :-) I am so glad you liked the story. I will admit I got a little moist around the eyes as I wrote it ... I am super sensitive when it comes to animals, especially young ones, as they are so innocent and I hate to see them mistreated. I was totally wrapped up in the story 100% while writing it - when I write I keep all the image up on the right side of my monitor and the word document on the left ... so it was very visual and intense as if I was right there just writing what was happening. In many ways I only write the basic plot/outline ... the rest tends to write itself from my unconscious. Probably why my stories often vary in quality - a lot depends on how well I am connecting to "muse" as it were.

Anyhow thanks so much for the high praise and I am very happy you enjoyed this story! I am just glad Wolfgar has two big and strong defenders to help watch over him

Oh, i didn`t mean that the stories vary in their quality. Your stories are always of high quality.

And yes, it`s a good thing when a story is written in a way that the reader can feel the intensity.

Thanks! I think some of my stories have more passion in them than others but I am pretty critical of my writing :-) But tis all just for fun and I really do enjoy doing these so its all good. Thanks very much for the comments and feedback, it really is greatly appreciated!

@Oxapodo - Many thanks! I had remembered that old movie and the chase scene so thought it would be fitting ... shows my age though

@Frank213 - Thank you Frank and sorry you could not hear the music. I was surprised I found a youtube version of the song, it is from the movie "Midnight Express" and is called "The Chase." Glad you liked the story and images!

Really like how you depicted Wolfgar's perspective, the city lacking those smells he was used to, the many people all in one place and odd thing for him, him referring to the inn as a smoky place that bothered his nose, him noticing that smell of the rare trees as he was chased. The intensity of the chase was great, that way the key almost slipped from his teeth, the footsteps nearing as he tried to quickly leap up the steep steps, his fearful whimpers filling his little spot of shadow. Luckily Erik has good instincts and noticed the howl, rushing out and quickly finding those that cornered the young wolf, he was wise to trick those thugs as a fight would only slow him from figuring out what was going on. It is interesting how Erik could hear that voice through Wolfgar, those images flooding into his mind, showing him the danger Grim faced. Seems one is watching over Erik in lending him the strength needed to open that door. Seems quite the battle awaits against those walkers of the mists, look forward to seeing what happens next

Thanks for reading and comment Kami, much appreciated! I had a lot of fun with this chapter (although it was by far the most work I have ever done on a story - it was almost 10 hours doing all the shots because of a variety of changes, reloads, and other issues - it was fun but also very time consuming). I enjoyed narrating from a few view points this time and really got into the story.

Once Erir has his formal initiation at one of Fenrir's shrines (more just natural areas of power in the woods) he will be able to commune directly with Fenrir, so for now this was the only way I could do it and remain true to my lore.

Next chapter we see what happens and then hope to wrap it all up in chapter 7
