Great shots! I love how you captured bits of moonlight hittting Grim's and his opponentent's bodies, while they are engaged in a deadly duel.

Wonderful backround story of Erik, and fantasic images!
You know, Erik is also Leas follower since a few days, and he is a great companion.
He is a brave and intelligent warrior, and he talks a lot.

Such a wonderful first part of this glimpse into Erik's beginnings as a warrior, before him and Grim became the great friends they are now. I like how you depicted that odd relationship between Erik and his father, him so angry as he bandaged that scratch his son got from fending off bandits, yet having some hidden pride for the bravery of his son, hidden by his worry for losing his only son. Seems that warrior spirit in him was noticed indeed, with Grim, Wolfgar and Eir sent to meet him. That part where Eir stifled a smile as she watched the "Fierce Wolf" pick up Wolfgar which such kind gentleness was amusing any snide remark cut short by Grim's gaze. Seems Grim is persuasive, managing to break through Mralki's stubbornness with his words as Erik watched unsure of what was happening. Will be interesting to see how he fares in that training ^^

Thanks Kami! I suspect many families are like the way you described Erik and Dad. We humans get so wrapped up in our inner conflicts and emotions that communication can become very difficult.

Grim is very shy when it comes to relationships but can be as charming and persuasive as any bard. People often forget behind his big frame is a very quick and intelligent mind.

Appreciate the feedback and hope all your projects went well!

Great background story of Erik with awesome and atmospheric shots (the one with close up of Wolfgar was so very cute!) and wonderful portraits of heroes as well! I like these switches in time, it shows how things are changing and Erik always seems to seek approval of his father, wanting to be a true an powerful hero, so he could be proud to have such son. Also it was very interesting how Grim first met with Erik and his impression over such interesting group of companions as Grim, Wolfgar and Eir. And Erik wasn't afraid of training or anything else because he wanted to accomplish his dream of being someone so much more than just a farmer. That is admirable. I am looking forward for the continuation!

Many thanks for the kind words and feedback Nataly! I have three personal favorite shots from this set and that one of wolfgar is one of them. I also liked main shot as I love the lighting on his face and thought he looked very dashing and charming.

Erik does want his father to be proud but also he wants to show his father that he can take care of himself and doesn't need to be hovered over (which is why in the current time he gets annoyed when Grim does the same thing to him). Erik is a hard worker though (have to be on a farm) so he dived right into training. He is still a bit naive but he is a very sweet kid and really just wants to protect his village, and people, from bandits and monsters.

Another Epic story in the making, like the way you go forwards and backwards in time with your stories finding out more as we go. Their should be many great songs sang in the Inns of skyrim and litres of ale spilled in toasts to Grim and the adventures of Black Wolf Comapany !

and Grim would be spilling most of that ale down his throat Nah he isn't like Rathe may do a rare bender but too much alcohol interferes with his bond to Wolfgar and nature so he doesn't really drink all that much. Glad you are enjoying the images and stories - I like doing something a little different but still tied to the game.
