Oh was the devastating Red Year, and the subsequent Argonian Invasion and Annexation of most of Morrowind EVER well-deserved!
Doth MILLENIA of pride and arrogance not goeth before a fall?
Daddy-not-so-dearest cannot be taught any honour, respect and civility whatsoever: he has NONE!

Like he tries to brutally teach his daughter racist supremacy and cruelty, and she has none^^....except she might develop some similar negative feelings towards her " Daddy" and her equally nasty bully-brat-bros if they keep this revolting and savagely sadistic cruelty up for much longer....^^

Good thing my Christmas turkey is long-gone, or I just might have lost it right here upon reading about Daddy-not-so-dearest's "lessons" ^^....
Endorsed. Warm thanks for another powerful tale, Jess, and cheers, dear!

Wow. That was intense. It felt as if I was almost there.

And your images amplified the dark atmosphere.

    Great work.

Gosh, that was so very intense, truly horrific experience for poor Vivyne! Awesomely written, sad and heart wrenching chapter of her heartbreak and her family brutality. Mirvynis Morvehloth seems to be either a devoted follower of Boethia or Molag Bal, because those two would sure approve using a living person as practice dummy, not to mention inflicting such suffering on his own daughter for displeasing him... but sadly Dunmer like Mirvynis Morvehloth indeed viewed Argonians and Khajiit as things, something to use and dispose like furniture, but not living persons with their feelings, hearts and souls. Maybe Red Year was a fitting payback for such Dunmer as him...
I feel terribly sorry for Vivyne, no one should experience what she had witnessed, her best and only friend being condemned to such slow, painful and agonizing death by those arrows and sadly she could have done nothing to save her and that was the point of her father, to make her obedient to him like she is some dog... But he should have known better, because by determined look in her eyes, Vivyne would never bend to him and his rules.

Her brothers, her father and those soldiers sure have that cruelty of Beothia, that same lack of care she has for the lives other than her own for them aimed at any that are not of Dunmer blood, making her watch her friend be treated like a target dummy, such a harrowing thing she saw, it seeming so long for her, each arrow like a dagger to her heart, does make one shed a tear for both friends..
