About this image
We traveled through the night and early morn. Surely and without haste we sought supplies. My feet stinging from the cold, yet we pushed onward through the snow. The leather armor upon my body almost turning to metal from the savage winds. My face numb I could barely mumble a thought to my companion. She had better armor than me, surely she couldn't hear my curses upon the air. One can't forget the howling winds of winter. The cold was making me uneasy.
Over the frozen hillside we stumbled upon a village. I just hoped the company which resided inside didn't mind strangers. We needed shelter, food, a warm place to breathe. Is it too much to ask for a fireplace too? I gripped my blade at ready as best I could. Who would want to be on the short end of a frozen blade anyway? We were ready for anything. Knock knock
