Your landscape in Dragon Bridge is amazing, mind if I ask what mods you are using, never seen a guards station for here, very nice and the tree's and grass are amazing to look at, you are very right Grim is a charmer for sure that 2nd to last shot is my favorite, he has such a wonderful smile so full of life but the last shot he is such a hunk hehe.. Wonderful shots.

Dawnbreaker is a wonderful weapon and Ambrosia does use it for ruins but to be honest she is a dagger kind of girl, up close and personal.. funny she never got into the bow thing, to far away I guess for her lol..

What a lovely set of shots and so nice to see Grim take some time and relax he needs a bit of a break after this last job

Thanks much Heaven! I believe I am using a "Towns and Villages Enhanced" mod that adds things to Ivarstead, Dragon Reach, and other areas. I use the Steam WS version for this but looks like it is on Nexus as well: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17406/?

Like Ambrosia, Grim preferes Daggers and Short Swords. However for some fights a full sword is best - especially with undead and Dawn Breaker. He will also use some archery if needed but much prefers close up combat.

You know, I don't know if I can explain what I mean here, but every time I look at (truly look at) one of your environmetal/landscape pictures it brings me a sense of peace. That same kind of peace the northern parts of my beautiful contry gives me (Sweden). Those little snapshots of life that sort of burn into your mind and stays with you always. The warm summer rains with your face turned to the sky, the hazy autumn mornings and explosions of color thas is a clear autumn day, those icy cold winters that makes you forget what indoors feel like. The nothingness that is everything. You know what I mean? Anyways, your rock.

Ah, wow - thanks so much for the wonderful comment! I love doing landscape and just general scenic shots. I do some portraits but overall I tend to just "snap" the camera whenever I see something I like :-) I spend most of the time tweaking mods and ENB settings so the game looks wonderful - thanks to all the great modders and ENB coders around here!

Anyhow I think I know what you mean as far as real life nature, which I adore and often find myself just standing in awe of a great scene in the forest, or by the river, or a wonderful pastel spread of colors during a sunset, etc. In a much smaller way I often will explore in Skyrim and be amazed how beautiful a game can look. I am from the older generation and I remember playing games that used floppy disks and those very old pixelated games. Seeing the progress in technology to something like Skyrim is just amazing.

If I had another chance at life I would have been a wilderness ranger I think, somewhere in the remote forests of North America. Never been to Sweden but seen lots of images and can only imagine what it must be like to see such a beautiful country in person.

Same here, remember playing QBasic worms and gorillas on an old 286 back in the day... now those were games! My dad would on occasion let me skip school and just sit at his desk at work and enjoy all these things we couldn't afford to enjoy at home. At times, he would make me small diplomas when I "accomplished something". This accomplishment was usually just playing these games, drinking hot chocolate, and telling him about how awesome it, and I, was. Pure bliss was when old computers would get thrown out and he could take them home for us to play around with. Hell, I still remember the feeling from the very first time I got to play simple games like solitaire and pinball on the computer at home. And tetris? Forget about it. Quite often, he also took me out into the forests to fish, gather mushrooms and berries and such. It really taught me to value the simple things in life and appreciate what I have. Once as a kid, when we were going out for a hike, the weather was just unforgiving and we had to stay at home. We ended up creating a forest in our livingroom, moving plants around and pretending to be out in the woods the whole day. That night we slept in sleeping bags in a tent pitched in the middle of our livingroom. Good times.

It' is just incredible how realistic and beautiful games are nowadays. Since my rig can't really handle ENB's besides Cinemascope (at best), I often browse around images here on Nexus just to enjoy what has and can be created by all these talented people, including yourself. Writing this, I realise I'm not as generous with complimenting on the plethora of the amazing work of modders and screenarchers as I should be.

Totally agree with your thoughts on having another chance at life. Maybe that's a common trait in those who enjoy games like this and hence why we enjoy them. I really hope you do get and take the chance to head out into the wild every once in a while. There really is nothing that can compare to it. Sorry for rambling on here, got a bit nostalgic

Hey no worries, I can be very verbose myself and sometimes it is nice to just rattle on - thanks for sharing some memories with a stranger as it were I have a lot of good memories with some old computer games. I grew up in a fairly large family but was a bit of an oddball so I spent a lot of time on my own and became very adept at entertaining myself - often going on "adventures" out in the woods as I grew up in a nice rural area with lots of nature around. Still pretty much the same - indoors I spend on books and the computer and the rest is outdoors with my dogs and hiking.

I agree - there are lots of awesome pictures here on Nexus (and Flickr) and I enjoy looking at them all myself.

    Wonderful shots Wolf!
Yes, Dawnbreaker is a very stylish weapon.
Lea only use bows, but this excellent sword has always a place of honour in her house.

Thanks Forrest. Grim prefers either his two short swords (a mod) or twin daggers when sneaking and doing down and dirty fighting. But for big combat encounters he prefers a sword and Dawnbreaker is great for those pesky undead.
