Finally was able to read and enjoy your work. And its really, really wonderful.
Your storys and your images are truly inspiring, cause there is so much personality in your characters and the way you present them. You have a great narration, easy to follow for even those who cannot speak English fluently! Thank you, and a huge thank you for giving Kynareth Cassias face. We are both very, very flattered!

Thank you - I sometimes get carried away with my imagination and write a lot! I thought your Cassia/Kynareth was totally perfect for what I wanted to do and I could have never found the time to try and create my own version for one flashback. Thanks again for letting me use her as a cameo :-)

Wow dear! Amazing story. I loved the main plot but also your little nuances; the little vixen that dashed by Wulfgar flashing her tale at him (a subtle reference to the story Hircine just told of Kynareth?)
Also that Grim thought for a desperate moment on leaving the Grotto that the rain was his grandfather crying for him - loved it.
I really enjoyed Hircine messing about with Grim in typical Daedric fashion, and I have to say his reveal of Grim's mother's origins has me intrigued. Is it Nocturnal herself or perhaps a mortal that Fenrir beguiled... Karliah??
I'm eagerly looking forward to more. Thanks hon for sharing your sweet noble Grim with us!

PS - SO glad he didn't kill Sinding!

Thanks - I wanted to toss in a few references to Kynareth as she can't materialize anymore on the mortal plane (after the creation of Nirn and Lorkhans "death") so I like to think she watches over him from her own plane with the small touches she can do - the animals, the weather (she was the one crying in a way or at least the metaphor of it).

I know who is mother is but that will have to wait for that story :-) Right now he has an important mission that will send him tumbling into the past for a bit.

Aye it got WAY longer than planned, my bad as poor planning. But I didn't want to break it up.

Next big story, which I am working on now, will be better spaced I hoped! Thanks for comment and the read!

    Very interesting story!
I´m a bit sad, cause english is not my native language, and i can`t understand it all, but i try hard to learn more, and maybe one day i`m able to understand every single word and particularly the context.
Yeah, that would be great, cause your storys are always amazing!

No worries Forrest! It means all the more that you still struggle through reading the tales especially when you don't know the language that well - Kudos for all that hard work! I am also very wordy and sometimes use less common words.

Just enjoy the images and thank you so much for enjoying my work!

Here we go - comments regarding Part One&Two!

I love how you changed that Hircine quest to fit your own version of the lore - it feel really natural and, frankly, makes much more sense than the randomness of the game.
There are so many good parts here: I especially like the bit about Fenrir contacting Grim, it seems like you are really into your story, that's a very mallable imagery you put in there.
And that flirting with Valgia... it always seemed to me that Grim is perfectly aware of his charms and can use them when needed. And the description of the jarl was spot on! Such a popmous posterior, that one...
The scene of tracking and then slaying the stag was also wonderful. I like how ambitious our Grim is, to be so mad that he wasn't able to track the beast as easily as usual...
And Hircine! Oh, I love that old nut of a Daedra! And you portrayed him greatly. And to think he is the grandfather of our Grim... it's so badass.
And that story of his... oh wow, it was so accurate (and I think I recognize that girl playing the part of Kynareth... ).
And that's something I haven't seen in quite a while - a hero preparing for the task by reading books! It really warmed my heart to see that there are still some people that believe in research...
Sinding and Grim joining forces? Now that was unexpected... but awesome! And Hircine is truly one of the most intriguing and complicated Daedra - with a twisted, but still clear, sense of honor and... indulgence?

The images are, as always, fantastic! Everything looks so vivid, even though the colours are desaturated.

Fantastic story, enjoyed it throug and through.

Thanks so much for the comment Kayol! I didn't want Grim to just be a big brute - he is very well educated by some of the best scholars in Tamriel. He has a quick and clever mind when he remembers to use it :p

So he is no stranger to doing research and can speak and read/write in many languages, some long forgotten. He could be a mage if he wasn't so tied to the physical in many ways. I am still debating if he will do the Mage or Thieves quest .... it is a decision he worries about often.

In regards to his lineage ... well yes Grim has some divine blood and will have a very long life span (if not killed) and some other perks but is otherwise mortal.

But then again, in regards to Skyrim, how many real mortals can take down a single dragon solo let alone dozens and dozens of them? Let alone all the other dangers the main character has to go through.

To me it seems reasonable that the main character be stronger and more powerful then ordinary people because they are always fighting extra-ordinary monsters!

I found the story of Hircine’s and Kynareth meeting and the child Fenrir’s origins very interesting, it seems even the gods are not immune to desire and passion, they are not much different in their base needs as the other races, but do have different views on the world itself I am sure. It was very interesting to see how Grim dealt with finding Hircine was in face his grandfather in blood and his father Fenrir. Still not knowing of his mother I wonder if he will follow the clue or will decide that is not his way. I guess time will tell, I did enjoy how he worked with Sinding as I do not think I will have the heart to kill someone or something that was not in control at the time of their crime and feel that he will pay for that crime forever in his memories, maybe he can atone for some of it by working with the Black Wolf Company. Very well told, very interesting tale and I look forward to learning more about Grims past as it is told. Wonderful shots Very much enjoyed !!

Thank you kindly Heaventhere! I think any dealings mortals have with Aedra/Daedra will always be tinted by their own limitations of mortal perception. What Hircine shared with Grimulfr was much more than what Grim experienced - but his mind could only interpret so much. There could have been many other things going on besides lust and desire but to Grim that was how his mind interpreted those memories through his mostly human mind. Or maybe it was just two horny gods at play :-)

I have an issue with this screenshot set...

I can't see grim reading a book while sitting without thinking he's on the loo.

It is so interesting to learn of that close connection between Fenrir, Hircine and Kynareth, truly an odd family they make, Grim's reaction to that tale was quite amusing, that chase of wolf pale as snow and one dark as a starless night, that passion among the shadows of the forest, those emotions shared much in the way Fenrir communicated with him. I like how you depicted just how complex the mind of a Daedra is, him thinking her had angered that old wolf by having saved Sinding yet in fact having proven his worth against those hunter under that blood red moon. I am intrigued by that clue he left, how cryptic it is to have only left him the name of that Deadra of stealth and shadows, that mysterious lady luck, seems his path draws him towards the thieves, I wonder what answers he will find there, how he will deal with those tasks he will have to do ^^

Thanks for the great comment Kami. It is a bit of an odd family I know. But I like the idea of Kynareth as a bit of a nature god while Hircine is more god of the hunts and, to some degree, the beasts of the forest. So I saw a connection between the two and decided to exploit it

While I have more lore on my website I haven't really shared all of Grims past here, been working it in as I go, and he has a bit of a connection to the thieves guild. But as folks know he is struggling with that connection. He may have to make a choice to give up ever finding out who is mother is or joining the guild in the hope of finding some answers.

I think Fenrir wants him to solve this on his own for his own enigmatic reasons that may come clear later on.
