Brilliant work as always!
I loved the Moonshadow realm and am glad he took her to see such beauty (even though it was to be a distraction), but I'm most concerned about what the Hells he's up to in the library. I can't see Sam hunched over a dusty old book to read up on sonnets! Nooooooo, he's up to something...
Off to the next part...
Yeah, Sam used Moonshadow as a distraction, trying to turn Dannee attention to such beauty, while thinking about his plan of reconciliation, thus he went to the library. And no, he is not looking for sonnets, more to the literature fitting for his sphere of life...
It was nice of Sam to do that for Dannee and I hope he doesn't screw it up by whatever it is he is doing at the library ... which I am so very curious about!
I like your portrayal of the Moonshadow realm and how you elaborated more on how things are between Sam and Dannee. It is a complicated relationship for sure. Makes Grim happy he only has to worry about giving Wolfgar treats. Then again I suppose Dannee could keep Sam happy by doing the same ... although the treat itself would be different I am sure
You are right about angst, it is natural to worry about relationships, even the most happy ones. I saw few quite happy couples and was surprised to see how many angst can be unraveled behind that visage of happiness, all have problems and misunderstanding, it seems.
Well, Sam has something big in mind, he wants Dannee in all ways and since her attitude to him slightly colder in that regard he will try to inflame her passion by using other means then just words or travels.
Thanks again! I think Grim must be very happy that Wolfgar wants is friendship and treats. And you are so right about Sam’s happiness, he will sure soon get his favored treat from Dannee too, which could also make her happy in return…
It seems to me that Sanguine is a bit childish in some ways. He isn't really capable of fully comprehend what he did wrong, but still he tries to compensate Dannee for all the hardship in their oh-how-complicated relationship The trip to that Moonshadow realm was really romantic, it showed that seductive side of the Daedric Prince. But Dannee still has so much sorrow in herself... it is understandable, thinking of her past and all that she's been through. No wonder she wants to be sure she can give her heart fully to the one she wants without fear that it might be broken yet again. Unfortunately that certainty would be very hard to achieve...
Beautiful, very romantic images, a feast for the eyes!
Looking forward to read Part Two!
Well, the main problem is that Sam is too selfish to fully comprehend all of Dannee’s recent angst yet he ties to relate to her in his own way, as you rightfully said, by compensating her all the hardships she has endured. It is in style of Daedra – give something to receive something even more valuable, so Sam acts like his relatives in that regard… though of all Daedra I think he can understand mortals the best, being probably most emotional of all Princes, as well as hot headed with first emotions than logic.
You are right about trip to Moonshadow, Sam has showed his seductive side, yet Dannee hesitates and she is scared, knowing how nasty he can also be if angered or displeased. It is hard to trust her heart fully to such being, especially with her past tied with treachery of the one she thought has loved her…
Thanks again, I am very glad that you liked the images too!
