  Thanks! I am still experimenting with speech bubble style. I made a complete STO comic (To Borgly Go) in this style where the bubbles were solid white with black outline. I wanted to try something where the bubbles were not so completly intrusive. This is not the end of the journey, but it is good enough for display.

  I like the style you've adopted. With my opaque bubble, they are simple to do, but I spend most of the time positioning them so they don't cover up too much picture (can be a real pain).
