By the way, Drowners can be very creepy, too! If you have S.W.E., they can be found in Dark Water Crossing, Riften, Riverwood, Markarth and other places with lakes or rivers flowing. After meeting these foul beasts, I installed mods like "Run for Your Lives" and "No more Red Shirts". Some npcs were just being slaughtered, sometimes I just couldn't save them all...Anyway, a good challenge!

I was looking at these marvelous pictures as they remind me of some nasty encounters.
That creature is a Nekker. In the Witcher Universe they can be found in forests, ideal places for an ambush. Nekkers have some intelligence; they use to atack in packs and yes, they are brutal! It's all right if the main character and the followers are strong but...a low level character or just a regular npc? Blood and rags...
