Very poetic having him actually at a physical crossroads while metaphorically grappling with the direction his life is taking him; hero? Rogue? I wonder which way he'll go (though I have a feeling it'll be hero)!

I like your storyline better than Bethesda's actually, nice job with the shots too! What a dilemma for Grim and Wolfgar indeed.

Thanks Bronze! Lots of fun to right and turns even the most mundane quest into something more as I write the story in my head as I play - it gives a lot more depth to the game. Eager to post the final chapter for this quest line today - the shots with True Vision came out great!

Great shots, and amazing story, and of course such a wonderful shot of Wolfgar, It is so hard to pick that path you want walk for Grim I am sure, so many distractions and ways to go, good or bad, and how do you decide, many questions but sometimes few answers.. I am sure Grim will pick the right path for him!

Hmm... sometimes i think Grim is a bit like Robin Hood.
A wonderful story Jonathan, and i hope finally he will go home to the Greybeards, but thats just my opinion.

Aye he has a bit of Robin Hood in him I think. At the moment he is leaning towards the Greybeards. If so he will have to find some other way to complete his mission for the Black Wolf Company. I am thinking maybe the mages will offer a chance ...

A very nice narration and insight into Grim's thoughts and concerns. I can really understand his indecision. Like I had already mentioned to one of your other images, I also would like to play as some sort of Robin Hood, because I like sneaking and archery very much. I always played Oblivion (and Morrowind) as a member of the Fighters Guild until I became the leader and then I started to complete quests for the Mages Guild. I also tried some Thieves Guild quests - no problems with that but if it comes to contract killing I refuse steadfastly to do so.

Thanks for the great feedback. I think some of the difference is how people play. I tend to play as myself. If I was playing a character it would be a bit different (although even when playing someone "else" I still can't really be evil) but Grim is kinda my "nice but tough guy" me if I were in Skyrim if that makes any sense. I love most of the thief skills and play style but dislike the being actual thief lol.

I like the idea of taking over the guild and using it as a way to distribute wealth and power from the rich and corrupt to the poor and downtrodden. Course that is overly naive in thinking. There are good rich, bad poor, and 32,000 shades in between :p

Still it is one thing to just be a thief in the guild and something else entirely to lead it and restore it to power. Plus there would be the issue with serving Fenrir and then the tie to Nocturnal ... and how I would deal with that. So while that was my original plan for Grim he may end up being the hero instead.

The companions are to mercenary besides he is already a mercenary - makes no sense to join him. Plus Grim already has Fenrir's blessing. He doesn't want to get involved with his Grandfather Hircine (another story to be forthcoming). Heh the only guild that tends to be mostly good is the mage one ... perhaps he will consider that.

Of course he will always be, first and foremost, a member of the Black Wolf Company - but they tend to be a force for good overall.

Anyhow these stories reflect my own struggle with which direction to take Grim. For now I am putting it off :-)

EDIT: And sounds like we played previous TES games somewhat alike based on what you wrote

Very nicely written! That's what I wanted to write/convey. I think the same way.
