These two lovely ladies certainly make an interesting and contrasting duo.^^
Asha and Serana are now even greater enigmas to one another now that they are in this dark place.

I actually liked the dark, desolate beauty of the Soul Cairn, and even had a home there:

Endorsed. Warm and kind thanks Jess, and cheers, dear!

Thanks hon. Personally I LOVE the Soul Cairn and think it's quite beautiful. It just didn't mesh with the idea I have in mind for Asha's homeland and it seemed fitting that she'd hate it. I'm off to check out your house!

Wonderful shots, love how the two of them interact always that hint of more, just not yet acted upon. Never been to the Soul Cairn, it looks very interesting in the dark colors with the purple light shinning all around them, I do wonder why it disturbs Asha so, what about it makes her feel unease, Great story with powerful shots jess

Really like how you described her discomfort in that place of dark twisted spires and wandering spirits, the lands broken and shifting, that feel on her skin as that faint light hits her, as she looks into that swirl that is the sky, disorder does seems to have quite the effect on her. I like the part about Serana's curiosity, Asha sensing the question in her eyes, wondering what she thinks ^^

I think it was really interesting to have Asha finally Ill at ease somewhere. She does not like the feeling of not being in control (I think she gets that from me), so it was nice to write that. Thanks hon!

Just a technical question: did you really enter the Soul Cairn as Ningheim without being a vampire or did you cheat a little bit?

Great as always. I love your way of telling the story. I have to admit that I am a bit jealous because I am not able to express myself nearly as good as you. Never before I have to google more words than in your stories. And I always thought I am fairly good in english. You are so poetic.

Who will be the third member of the bards college of the nexus triumvirate?

Technical question: no, I had to let Serana take part of my soul to enter the Soul Cairn (the second option other than turning into a vamp).

Thanks for your very kind praise pan and please don't be jealous or undersell your own works!! I love your stories and often find myself in awe of EVERYONE else's works because they seem so much more intriguing and crafted than my rambling!

I guess it's all well and good to have a healthy love and respect for other writers work - keeps your fresh!

I love the description of the Soul Cairn - it really sent shivers down my spine. It was a bit Neil Gaiman-ish piece, you know? He would enjoy your narration, methinks.
    Amazing, as always!

That was amazing, such awesome and so very fitting description of the Soul Cairn! Asha' uneasiness was very palpable here, her tension and that unsettling feelings that this eerie place invokes in her. So her realm seems very stable, where order and logic rule as I've perceived it from her words. And I am so very intrigued what Serana thinks about Asha's ability ti enter Soul Cairn without being an undead...
And the shots are great too, very atmospheric, reflecting that strange plane of Oblivion with gorgeous Asha and Serana. They manage to look elegant and stunning even in that hellish place.

I think it's the purple glow that make them look so good! Gives a healthy colour to otherwise pale skin!
      Thanks dearie!
