Thanks for all the great comments on all three stories that relate to Eir - made my week In regards of her showing up again ... She is part of my "world" now and I am a very devoted role player heavily focused on immersion and game play. She will end up in the squad that Grim will eventually lead years later. For now she is focused on missions for her own squad while Grim is busy with numerous personal missions. That being said there will be some cameos I hope as I made Eir a follower in my game so she is there when I need her.

The only thing I have to be careful about is the time line. Grimulfr got his blessing of Fenrir shortly before Helgen. After he escaped Helgen I worked in that he headed to the Skyrim Black Wolf Company base cam, in Markarth, seeking guidance. It was then that he first met Eir.

Since that encounter just over two years passed to the conclusion of Eir's tale that I shared. So she may have a mission or two with Grim - I just have to keep my time line straight when story telling I estimate 1-2 years after her story concludes she may join Grim's newly formed squad.

These are the people I have thought of so far who will be part of Grimulfrs squad that he leads for the BWC:

Eir, Brynjolf, Durak, Kurdan gro-Dragol (by Binmaru), Erik the Slayer, and possibly one other female companion if I find one I like.

Well, have so many words I want to write but to be honest the emotions of this story have made my eyes a bit moist, What a amazing moving story, I have read many and I must say have never been as moved as I was by this, it was truly a wonderful flowing of words that take the heart and soul to meet Eir, it was moving and tragic but it also shown the way to what true duty means to one as strong as Eir, even in her grief she found her place in nature, in the world and joined it even though she will never be the same, she will be more, until the day she meets her husband and Fenrir once more..

Wonderful shots and a wonderful moving story. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Thanks for the great comment. I will confess that I went through a decent number of tissues writing this. I tend to not only have an overly vivid imagination but also tend to be fairly emotional .. I suppose the two go together.

While I was writing I felt like I was living her story and it got me all pulled in and sad and happy at the same time. It was hard to write in some ways but still I enjoyed the whole experience and I am glad you did as well.

I wanted to create a character that went through growing pains and hardship yet instead of giving into despair and withdrawing she grew stronger from the experience.

In the end none of us can control what happens to us from life. However, and this is important, we can control how we react to it. Eir is a positive example of that even if she had a little help from a friendly wolf along the way

Your comment helped make this post all the more worth it as well, so thank you.

I'll post you tissues for you to continue writing if you ever run out.
I can imagine this story going down in history as a book in a TES game.

A very fleshed out, lore friendly set of tales about the lovely, brave and heroic Eir. I love your images too wolf; very fitting with both the story and the skyrim you create with your words. Well some on this saga and I look forward to more grim and Eir.

Thank you Jess - you have been an inspiration to me actually - helped push me to write a bit more in depth even if it isn't as polished as I would have liked.

You have no idea, how pleasurable reading about Eir is. As I wrote before(or maybe just thought about it? Meh, it's too early in the morning to think.), she is very real - and fits the Skyrim lore so well! The part when she lost her husband yet again (and for good, at least in this life) was truly heartbreaking. But it was also very real - sometimes trying to save the one you love means sacrificing yourself.
It's amazing to see her finding a new path, among the Company, blessed by Fenrir. She is rich in experience now, a bit wiser, and perhaps even stronger than before. Just like Kami, I hope we'll see her again sometime
Oh, and I loved the shots! Damn, I need to save some money for a new PC... then I'll be able to use ENB for grown-ups!

Thanks Kayol! Aye I wanted her to be very real and solid as a character. I like strong capable women as characters who are far more than just something pretty to look at so I spent a lot of time thinking about Eir and who I wanted her to be. So glad you enjoyed her story!

They certainly found quite the battle when they only sought to fight a necromancer, that great dragon swooping down, not a foe to be ignored posing great danger to the townsfolk, the warrior couple were brave to face such a beast, not being dragonborn and they fought so fiercely, it is sad that in that desperation as Skjadwulf saw his beloved enveloped in flames that he took such a risk, receiving a great wound no spell could heal in time. One could truly feel the pain of her losing her dear bear a second time, that sorrow that filled her for many days, causing her to flee into the forest, but in getting lost she found her path in the great white wolf watching over her with her beloved. She is sure to honor that memory of Skjadwulf though pride and will, such a beautiful emotional end to the tale but I hope to see more of Eir sometime in the future ^^

Thank you Kami for your generous comment! I have made Eir a part of my role playing world and I tend to be a very immerssive focused player so she will make some cameos down the road I hope
