1000 units of custom made baked potatoes 6354 polys each (did it just 4 lulz), gtx560 / i5 2300 / 8 Gb. 60+ fps before the test, 31 fps at 550 units, potatoes had 512К retextures with blank alphas that double the size to 341K and my memory bandwidth's got jammed (ain't my fault!) Needs further testing with lesser sized texture and CPU load monitor from Aida64 ;-)
btw PS4 wouldn't handle that
