About this image

After my first two Skyrim characters, I decided to create a third based on the character from the trailer. I consider this to be the "canon" version of the Dovahkiin in Elder Scrolls lore. I try to play how I think this character would play, which has led to a very interesting experience with me making unusual choices in quests and combat. I try to only pick quests I believe the Dovahkiin, who seems to be a true nord, would do. Bethesda makes it hard for you to want to join the Empire. They did just try and kill you, an innocent man, for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm sticking mainly to the main quest, Stormcloak questline, and random assorted quests. I will not join the Mage college, or the Thieves guild(despite them having an awesome questline), or The Dark Brohood(heh).
Race: Nord.
Combat Style: I feel that the Dovahkiin uses nothing but his steel sword, and his iron dagger(for lockpicking and scraping leather, along with stealthy kills). In the trailer he is not wearing a quiver with arrows of any kind, so I'm going to perhaps lazily assume he doesn't use them. I use the same steel sword he uses in the trailer, along with all the same equipment. One of the first things I did was level up my smithing to 100 (took about 8-10 hours loool). 100000 Iron Daggers FTW. Anyway, now my Steel Sword can do some really good damage and my armor doesn't make me a wimp.
Magic: I use none. Literally, none.
Stealth: Minimal.
Thievery: Minimal-none.
Enchanting: None.
Alchemy: Minimal.

List of mods I use and recommend. This list is incomplete and updated regurally, last update 1/23/12. Note that not all of these screenshots may have been taken when I had these mods installed, I get new ones all the time and update these lists whenever I do(feel like updating them).

About the quality of the screenshots: I'm sorry, but my laptop has a TERRIBLE (integrated, damnit) graphics card. I'm lucky I can play Skyrim, and I can only handle high texture settings thanks to Windowed Mode and The Borderless Windowed Mode Mod. If you want to complain about the quality of the graphics, instead of only *saying* something, why don't you *do* something about it? Buy me a good computer! Because technically, I'm poor, so I can't buy a better laptop, I couldn't even afford to replace this one.
Long story short, if you're here to complain about the graphics, leave, because I really don't care.
Beyond that, feedback on the screenshots is welcome. I'll listen to (but not nesscarily heed) any suggestions about what the canon version of the character would do. If you like it please Endorse. Thanks for reading this, have a good day, god bless, and may the Force be with you.

except that i played an orc in my very first game everything is nearly the same.at least he was the most powerful of all characters i played cause he was straight with his skilllevels and perks, killed everything in sec. while everything else i played was of course still playable but a bad joke and totally inefficient (especially magician) compared to a straight melee-imba-heavyarmor walking tank..imho

it looks pretty good...I think sometimes scenes can be more about what is in them, and what is going on than just say an advert for who has the best card.. this is good work indeed and a nice idea for his story ...loving doing the Stormcloak quest line at the moment
