She had marched into Solitude alone. The Stormcloaks could be heard breaching the gate outside, but she was far ahead. Within the walls of castle Dour itself.

The guardsman has only just drawn his weapon when she attacked, her blade slicing through his armour and beyond. She cradled the man as he breathed his last. It was a strangely peaceful moment.

Broken by the sound of his sword hitting the ground. She dropped the body and pulled her weapon free.
