The torso and shield got proper HD diffuse textures, as the fabric weave of the blue arm bits are definitely higher-def. The diffuse for the other three components are just resizes though.
Just noticed... has the alpha edge transparency on the fur belt not been added yet? There was a botch in teh vanilla textures where some major mixup happened pertaining to the alpha transparency, with the edging transparency ending up in the completely wrong place (on part of the skirt IIRC). Unofficial Patch fixed it both in Unofficial Skyrim Patch and Unofficial HD Patch. There's even some vertex alpha business going on with the fur belt.
nope, no alpha added yet... and yes.. alpha in vanilla is misplaced .not sure but in vanilla nifs alpha is not enabled (that's why we do not see the misplacement ingame) anyway... the huge problem of these models ,cuirass, helmet, gloves , boots, are the specular values in the nif. you can make a quick try on your own, open the normal... fill the alpha with just flat black...save the file...paint black also the the envmasks....you'll find that models ingame keeps to be lucid. that's because nifsettings on specularity override specular...i'll see if i can fix the issue.
Errr, you sure it's not enabled? I just extracted the blades armor NIFs straight from the vanilla meshes BSA, and both the M and F vanilla Blades armors have NiAlphaProperties in them.
And they were visible in-game, they showed up strewn across parts of the skirt.
There's also vertex alpha stuff going on around the belt fur as well, that may be a factor why blacking the alpha doesn't hide everything.
Nice, i'd have likd to see some etchings on the breastplates, maybe something like dragons sense tehy were dragonhunters. However I Think you should darken the breastplate to match the sholders, it looks a bit wached out, just a suggestion. But this is still a really nice work
