   Hi there! I can help I had the same problem at first the creation kit does not handle high resolution tintmasks. You need the default resolutions. Or you need to lower the size in photoshop.

   Remove the tintmasks folder in data/textures/actors/character/character assets to your desktop. Create your npc, export the facegen data, then save. Replace the tintmasks folder.

   I'm not quite sure why it looks like that in the CK, it looks like that for me, too. If someone knows why, let us know. As for the actual follower, try selecting her in the CK (Don't open the editor, just click on her name) and press CTRL+F4. This will export her facegen texture and she should be good to go.
   
   Apachii hair does not cause this. That was something someone said when the mod first came out and that has since been proved to be wrong.
   
   I like her facial structure, by the way.
