   Looking at your screenshot, i'd say your not really taxing out your vram unless you have a 512mb graphics card. 90% sure its a missing texture so just uninstall and reinstall the mod properly making sure the texture files are complete.

   high vram usage would end up as black textures, missing textures in the other hand ends as light purplish color

   It looks like a missing texture file... Not sure how to help you but I think that's the problem

   Perhaps a missing texture or mesh file. When I was installing a backpack mod I had forgotten to put the texture files in there, so when I started got the backpack the meshes made the shape and everything but the textures weren't there which is why it was purple. Also make sure that if you downloaded the mod to install manually that it downloaded all the files.

   Normally this happen for high vram usage, you tried restart skyrim? optimized the textures with SMCO? Try reinstalling the armor manually, this may help.
