It had been 72 hours, or maybe even more. Dareth couldn't remember. He felt his need for blood growing but he didn't want to leave Marcurio alone, after Dareth shared his own blood with him.
Marcurio was dying, to be reborn immortal.

Then Marcurio suddenly opened his eyes, which changed to the beastial red Dareth only knew to be vampiric eyes. "How long has it been?" Marcurio asked. "At least two days..." Dareth answered.
"You had me worried there for a while, I thought I lost you." Dareth said

"Ha, never !" Marcurio joked back. Dareth pulled his lover of the bed and stared into his eyes, after which they hugged eachother lovingly.

Marcurio survived the ordeal and now theyre inseperable forever !
