Having failed an assassination attempt against Danzō Shimura, Hinata Mizunai was branded a criminal in Konohagakure. Being sent to Helgen for her eventual execution, the Akatsuki took notice of the girl's talents and pulled her from the destruction caused by Alduin. Since her joining of the Akatsuki, she wears a small sword that bears the Uchiha logo on the sheathe, and Itachi's ring, which was her way of symbolizing her obsession over the former Akatsuki member. Now free from her bonds of execution, she carries out silent, but deadly assassinations in the name of the Akatsuki.
