   SMIM isn't doing this. It is Skyrim HD. The reason it displays is because you picked the SMIM Vanilla Barrel textures option, so SMIM looks for the vanilla texture location, which has been replaced by Skyrim HD's textures. If you want to avoid this issue, use SMIM's barrel textures.
   
   Also, it is perfectly legal to remove the copyright text because Mayang's terms of use give full permission to modify the textures for non-commercial use.

      Thanks for looking into it.
      For some reason i like the vanilla barrel texture on your great mesh. So i finally deleted the two Skyrim HD barrel textures located in /data/textures/clutter and everything works just fine Yay

   Would it be legal to photoshop that out of the texture if I didn't release the modified mod? I haven't seen this before, as I do not have a computer capable of running SMIM, but I really wanted to run it when I upgrade..

      I don't think that it's really caused by SMIM but i think you can do what you want to the textures if you are not releasing them. Nobody will know, right?

   Haha yeah I noticed that once; haven't used SMIM since. It's a great mod, but I value my immersion more than rounder barrels and rope.
