Work begins, side by side comp.

What you see here is a side by side comparison of the beginnings of the new texture I'm working on. I've painstakingly handpainted the shape of the features thus far, but no detail work has been done. The new shape is on the right, while the old completed Vanilla texture is on the left. I know as it is the new one isn't very impressive, but I've sat here with a mouse for hours just to create a shape. Cut me some slack.

I'm doing this primarily because I've decided to wait until 2014 to begin an actual run of Skyrim's story, which I have not progressed beyond the first battle of the Civil War and the dragon in Kynesgrove. I have much to still experience, but I'm always starting new characters due to mod changes. By 2014 I hope to see most of the mods I want to use completed, and will then do a new run. But then I remembered: the male face mods available don't fit my tastes. So I'll work and do my own set of textures until that time comes. Just the diffuse for now, no normals shown. As I said, no detail work done. Infact, let me put that in big words.
