Sissel (xvision version), sick of her sister Britte's bullying, and frustrated by Jouane Manette not teaching her any "real" magic, decides to tag along with a certain adventurer (yours truly) and finally acquire some fire spells.

Recruiting Sissel (via the "make any child your follower" mod) will result in Britte tagging along during the daytime hours, so you'll gain an extra follower, though no control over her (she'll fight on her own though--xvision version). But the converse is not true: Sissel will not join along with Britte. So that must mean that Britte is scripted to follow Sissel around--probably part of her bullying routine.
