   This is SO classically romantic, as in adventure/suspense/mortal danger. Sweet hilde just saved Isaac's 'carcass', well, most of it, anyway....hopefully....She IS a Mage AND Alchemist right? Those skills of hers will be seriously tested now!
   He might be infected with Hircine's Curse, or, Gift, depending on your point of view, but I doubt Hilde would want him as a Werewolf.
   Hope she is fairly strong to move him, once stabilized, and get him mounted and out of there to a healer FAST!

   That tension you built up in this chapter really struck me, that odd silence as Isaac emerged from his hiding place to investigate the carnage, his wonder about where the howls had gone, those moments as the dying soldier struggled for words right before the beast lunged at him. I really liked the intensity of the battle as well, as he is sent reeling trying to keep up his blade and strike back at his foe, seems luck was on his side that day that Hildi appeared, letting her deadly spells fly, giving Isaac an opening to strike the beast down. I hope Hildi's healing skill is not too late to save him, I am intrigued as to what will happen next, in this quite captivating tale of yours ^_^
