I totally LOVED the way you gave such a cool, descriptive POV of the story's events strait from the eyes of Gorgeous Nature, as she nurtures and watches over her beautiful and bountiful realm, and all things in it. I found that to be a very nicely refreshing and unique perspective.
Poor Isaac: love really and mercilessly HURTS, especially when it's UNrequited ....but is his love for sweet Hilde truly so?.....
Hopefully, he's misinterpreting a few things, like Hilde's supposed 'love life' or lack thereof, and that locket: who's to say that the guy in her locket-portrait, perhaps 'boyfriend', 'fiance', 'husband', is not now dead or otherwise gone to begin with?....
After reading that "goodbye" note, Hilde seems really P*SSED now! I just hope she goes easy on him when she catches up with him and then hopefully calmly, happily straitens-out their now VERY pressing inter-personal issues.
Endorsed.
Thank you most kindly for an entertaining and captivating saga, Frankie, and cheers to you!
Edit: BTW, About MEN in general, we are NOT stubborn,....well, not always, anyway^^, just a bit clueless sometimes.^^
Sometimes you might, on rare occasion need a proverbial (NOT literally! ) "two-by-four" to get our attention....and I hope sweet Hilde's bringing hers now....
Cheers!
Doesn't sound all too bad!
I really love your writing style Frankie - very fluid and natural. I like how you describe things from different perspectives (like the squirrel and the weather!). You've got some talent hon! Can't wait to read more of Hildi's adventures with the stubborn Isaac.
Thank you ^-^
He knows so very little about her indeed, which is partly his own fault. The girl talks alot but only ever when he asks her specificlly ;(
I though the rain and sun fitting to the story. I had a bit of a struggle trying to figure out what to start the text with as I watched the pictures of the trees, and that came out instead! ^^
I almost could feel myself getting pulled into the images while reading this.... um.. lets see.. my swedish knowledge... hmm... "underbart" ^^
Thank you!
She is so beautiful and I love that sepia toned 'photo', its amazing.
It's a bit of a backstory I will come around to later on!
We should learn from them.
