btw... original nebula image is not mine... only found on google + converted into cubemap for skyrim....so if the author recognizes it please contact me so i can give proper credits)
a nebula converted into cubemap...totaly working and seamless render is cubemapgen preview for both vanilla and mine vanilla upscaled to 256 mine native 512
Vanilla looks more like 64 x 64 upscaled. I could almost count the individual pixels on it. Bahaha. Does the color difference (in cube maps) change much when you apply it to a given texture?
seams make almost all of them unusable...could be ok for an armor...but cannot work on a sphere or any completely reflective object... yes color on cubemap overrides color map... more saturation on the cubemap.... more override. while brightness of the cube makes the strenght of reflection...clear... in conjunction with envmask
