I was happy, yet sad to read this chapter in a certain spot... happy Rathe killed the bandits, and made sure the body was not to be rested there, but sad that Rathe couldn't have been swift enough to save her...
    Excellent writing!

This dark tale brings up very raw and powerful emotions....The boiling, white-hot, vengeful RAGE he felt when righteously ending those vile bandit-rapists' pointless, disgusting lives.......obviously dying much, MUCH too quickly and with not nearly enough excruciating agony to be true justice, and the solemn, poignant and heart-wrenching respect that he gave that poor, violated and murdered Dunmer woman's corpse.

(Not sure about anyone else here, but for me, I will honestly say that it actually did hurt to read this, and my chest is still pretty tight as I type this.....)
    Endorsed.
    Cheers and thanks, jess!

Another superb chapter, Jess! As always, very impressive imagery to go with the story! I especially liked how Rathe avenged the slain Dark Elf. =)

It will be interesting to see what awaits Rathe in the Dark Brotherhood!
Rathe is a complicated character. I mean, it seems people have a difficulty understanding him.
Another greatly written chapter, Jess. ''A Rathe Decanius Tale'' has become my favourite ''book'' to read! ^^

I would endorse twice if I could - once for the images and again for the story. You excel at story telling Jessb81. Attention to detail, emotion, thought, depth ... it is a wonderful blend of imagery and story. A skyrim graphic novel in many ways. It can only goad the rest of us to try and reach new heights!

You really bring up lots of details, even if its good, smooth or abit harsh in many ways you describe it with such tension that its enjoyable to read while making me think up in my mind how it actually happens as a image, and including this when Rathe takes care of those three brutal men with his arrows piercing through their skin was cool, and when he saw the murdered Elf lying there as he carefully liftng her up in his arms almost made my tears to float over the edge of my eyes. Such poor soul, as her scream even heard but not known until too late... so sad... the wolves will indeed have a good feast on those three men laying now dead indeed!
Well told tale of Rathe's journey where he decided to go towrads Falkreath, past it and into the Sanctuary to the Dark Brotherhood!

Awesome continuation of Rathe's tale, beautifully written! I am so glad that Rathe stopped by and killed those disgusting dishonorable bandits, how many female travelers he saved with this killing. It was a great that he also put that poor dead woman to rest, by putting her in the stream and leaving her killers to be a food for a wolves. Rathe indeed has his won code of honor, glad that he finally acknowledged it himself, there is s much more in him than just anger, cold facade and his quest for vengeance. I am very intrigued with what will happen in Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary and look forward to see how Rathe will fare with those strange persons.
Fantastic shots as well, with great expression and Rathe looks awesome and very cool in his fierce element.
