Claudia served the Imperial Legion as a young battlemage back in the time of the Oblivion Crisis. Her talent for enchanting and Destruction made her a perfect candidate for the Sorcery Corps, heavily armored mages who specialized in frontline assaults.

But an altercation with her superior over 'sleeping arrangements' resulted in a destroyed barracks, expulsion from the Legion, and imprisonment. After her improbable escape, Claudia turned to adventuring, only to become infected with vampirism.

Unlike so many vampires who beweep their outcast state and spend their days hiding in caves, Claudia continued her adventures, honed her crafts, and eventually made her way to Skyrim, where whispers of a old vampiric power had returned to the world.
