The green and red from the warpaint, brings out different colors from the eyes. Creating a "strking" effect as stated by Kamikazekossori. Then add in the green and white feathers(?) along with her vibrant red hair and poof. Magic.
I sincerely applaud you, seeing this made me realize that I need to get more creative with my own characters.
