I severely underestimated the amount of work left to do last time. I tried to rush it, but the result was that I missed all kinds of kinks in the plugin or I simply assigned wrong paths to objects. That's all fixed now, and the release version is nearly done. I've built the installer with all the different options to choose from (Plugin type, body shape, face textures, etc...)
As for the followers, I had to remove them all together as I want them in a separate plugin for better management of future updates. To update existing followers you need to be able to deactivate and then reactivate them, which wasn't possible when they were still in the main plugin. You can't just turn off your race a moment, so I'm rebuilding them after release.
Also, making a mod doesn't just end with modding. I also needed many different screenshots for the installer (you like to know what you're installing, right?), and I still need to do some artwork for the mod page.
This time I'm really nearly done. I could give you the installer and you'd be able to play it. Just gotta have some patience with the last few mod page things, and Urshi gave me an update for about 4 textures that I will implement. I'm signing off now, and I'll continue tomorrow.

However, I won't blame Haliaxon so easily either. I shouldn't have given out a release date, but I felt the mod was taking a long time to complete and it looked like I was close to finishing it last week.
I've definitely learned from this experience, so that's good.

People are going to jump on your ass because you keep posting the same exact thing. Perhaps he hasn't given an update because of people like you. The ones expecting an answer as if they are entitled. Perhaps he hasn't because he doesn't want more people becoming like you. If he gives you a time, and that time timeframe ends up being wrong as of currently, people like you will whine and complain. Personally I think it's a wise decision not to say anything since he gets backslash one way or the other. He made this mod with his own mindset and work. Not to cater to people. Be patient, and just let him release it when he's ready. There are a ton of other mods who do this, so get off Seren's ass already. Why shouldn't people jump on you, when you're jumping on him. You say he is disrespecting his "followers and supporters" yet here you are saying you give up on him. Double standard and hypocritical. I hope when/if you ever decide to create a mod that you will understand how Seren feels and that you encounter this situation so you learn from it.
Please dont jump on my ass for saying this, its my opinion and you can feel free to have your own or feel the same way, it doesnt really matter either way.

I can't say I feel entitled to hear all about Seren's work for clicking and endorsement button. That is my opinion though, and you are of course correct that you're entitled to your own. I'm pretty sure most who support Seren's modding are willing to patiently wait for him to work out the kinks.
But I bet we are all eager to hear any news about Ningheim - it's been a week since "tommorow" and we didn't get any update.
Get that and Hvelgermir brows... for those of you who can't wait
