Quin better be VERY careful. I don't think he understands how much Kyra and Azgrak care for each other. He does not want to be on the business end of Azgrak's anger!
I very much liked the comic relief, considering Azgrak sudden friendship with barkeeper and Kyra's humorous comment about it. as well as their later banter about him not tired enough, certainly the simple conversation was the last thing that came up into his mind.
I can understand his reasons of leaving, the painful and brutal reality of war, where there is no really right side, not good and evil like in fairy tales but the life as it is. The heartbreaking moment of Quin's despair was done brilliantly, both in words and in images, and his later actions became clear too. I am glad he has let his pain out with patient and kindhearted Kyra as his listener, no wonder he fell in love with her. I wonder what she feels about him, maybe also not quite just plain friendly attitude... well, I guess it will be revealed sooner or later. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work!
