Here's and update with an early version of the handle. I will probably reduce the sides of the cylindrical wood part to a half which i forgot last time i optimized it.

Other than that there's also texture work and details to add as well as figuring out how materials will actually look in Skyrim.

    Millenia thanks for the info, rest assured that is the seam is noticeable in game (which probably will due to high specularity) i'll stitch the UVs and re organize it a bit.

    Non-square textures work fine: I would have used something like 2048x512 or 1024x512. No big deal, just good to know for your next thing

    Millenia, I was just replicating what i've seen in actual skyrim models, they are all done that way, until i don't get it in game i don't know how noticable it will be but the secular texture isn't aligned yet so i'd like to try like this, if it looks bad just retexture it in 1024x512 if the game supports that.

    Pretty nice, apart from the pretty obvious blade seam :/

    Why didn't you uv map it in one piece? Would've been much easier to texture :p
