Arai proclaims himself as a Telvanni Wizard-Lord, putting his Archmage's robes away, relegating them for ceremonial College duties only. Instead, Arai relishes in the elegant and princely fabrics of his new Telvanni wizard-lord robes, moving about his shoulders a bit, feeling the protective weight of the shoulder-pads, his eager fingertips tracing the Dunmer runes engraved into the fine cloth.

Then, in a whisper and almost conspiratorial tone, Arai chants the Telvanni oath of fealty, at which Brelyna joins him and then reluctantly Teldryn. As the chant grows stronger, even Neloth chimes in half-jokingly, remarking at how naive young Arai is at proclaiming himself a Wizard-Lord with no paperwork or bureaucracy to confirm his station back in Morrowind. Arai coolly retorts back that in time Neloth will find in him a true equal Wizard-Lord and perhaps more. Arai bites his tongue and hides the fact that he is Dragonborn while Neloth mentions the occurrence of dragons in Solstheim and Skyrim, wondering what fine experimental specimens they may be.
