Arai decides to opt for the diplomatic approach and win over Neloth. He knows full well how competitive Telvanni Wizard-Lords get with each other. So, Arai wishes to avoid confrontation and instead start off cordially and warmly, as a fellow kinsman visiting another, showing himself as an equal with respect.

Towards this end, Arai commands his beloved Brelyna and even his trusty bodyguard Teldryn to get busy in the Tel Mithryn kitchen and prepare a delicate meal with the ingredients from mainland Skyrim, unblemished and pure from any ash. Brelyna orchestrates the duties that Teldryn and Ulves Romoran must perform. Teldryn huffs and puffs in disgust at being delegated so menial a task, but then Arai reminds him that while travelling, cooking is Teldryn's duty, not Brelyna's. Brelyna as an Expert Conjuration mage and more importantly wife to Wizard-Lord and Master Arai must only command.
