While tales of the spellsword's adventures in the Sea of Ghosts sometimes reached the mainland, and the crusader's selfless deeds were often retold among townsfolk, the warlock had vanished completely. Some would recall a third member of the heroes' triad, but none would know any more than that. It was almost as if she hadn't existed at all.

How odd, then, that at right around the time of her disappearance, strange and obscure rumors would arise; of a seer lurking in the dark, hidden corners of the land, offering forbidden knowledge and prophetic visions to whomever was able to find him (or her?). Few were able to pursue those rumors, fewer who could piece together any details to the seer's whereabouts, but those who succeeded in their quest returned with strange and mysterious abilities, although - and so the rumor goes - all paid a terrible price.

It has become even easier to dismiss those stories as false recently, as no information on this mysterious seer's hideout could be found, and the few of whom it is said could find it, no trace remained (if they ever existed at all). However, and this may just be another coincidence, there has been word of a strange character that was spotted on the shores of Solstheim; a young girl clad entirely in dark robes inquiring about strange temples and books of black...
