Utterly calm, aloof, and keenly observant, Kinachi Quan is the man who would be emperor. Through manipulation, lies, deceit, and magic, he pulls the strings of all he weaves his web around, positioning the board to his liking before making any move of his own. Going in the face of cultural limitations, he openly practices the dark art of necromancy, though his disdain of the "brute force lower magicks," such as the animation of petty skeletons and shambling corpses has earned him the scorn of his necromantic peers, whom he considers beneath himself. What he regards as necromantic study worthy of lengthy pursuit, few can say, though his ready application of soul-trapping magicks is an ominous tell.
