What is that black Stuff

I started playing Dragonborn. I have played quite a few hours now and I\'m already finished with the main story. I noticed that this black stuff (looks like feathers or something??) is floating around my left arm and my head. AND IT\'S NOT GOING AWAY. Can someone please tell me what the f*** that is and how i could make it disappear? because it is really annoying, as i see it on my left side in ego-perspective.

    ok thanks, for reading my description. sadly there is nothing in my active effects menu. thought that it might be some kind of desease. I'll try gathering some informations about ashen creatures, their spells etc.
    if someone can help further please comment.

    Edit: oh yea... forgot to mention that this black stuff actually rotates around my arm / head.

    I'm speaking in ignorance, but I think this is some sort of new "Spell Effect" that the new Ashen creatures must have attached to them. You'll have to do some background checks to confirm, but it is removable if that's the case. Wish I could be more help.
