HD Textures Pls comment

So we got the official HD Texturepack 03 for Dragonborn(aswelll as DG+HF)and when I got to ride the Dragon in this specific quest I asked myself: what the hell? So is this the real thing or have I installed something wrong?
I mean seriously, the snake dragon is so badly pixelated it's not funny anymore.
I disabled the esp in the mod manager as always and edited both Skyrimdefault.ini and Skyrim.ini

So it should be working along with the other "highres" packs right?

    It really works. The ini tweak is no longer needed. Amidianborn and other replacers override the official textures. Still, the snake dragon is ugly as hell, seems they simply forgot about it.

    Apparently, the whole disabling-the-esps thing isn't needed anymore, since patch1.4, I believe. So you don't need to edit the ini file, just activate the esp's. So you might also try that.

    if the other textures work for you then it is possible that they simply didn't include a retexture for this snake dragon > or they didn't name it properly or they put it in the wrong folder so it just can't overwrite the low-res texture... > all of these things happend with some files in the first official HD texture pack... sad but true > but I'm sure someone will fix this!

    Yes. Texturepack 3 for Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.

    The thing is, most other stuff look fine, e.g. the weapons are very detailed. Dunno what's wrong.

    try placing HighRestexturePackFix.bsa AFTER HighResTexturePack03.bsa. Other than that, I don't know what else could be causing it...
