Thanks to Yadda's ENBSeries configs, Xenius's Character Enhancements, and a host of other mods from talented authors, I now get about 12 frames per second in Skyrim. But they're really pretty frames.
Studded armor retex from bernabn, no-dachi from 747823's Weapons of the Third Era, and tweaked normals from Valstein0's Athletic Nude Women... probably a few others as well.
