This is Marcus Attelli, An Imperial native to Cyrodiil. He was conscripted into the Imperial Legion at the young age of 22, Since then hes been fighting with the legion across all the lands of Tamriel. He has made his way to a pretty notible rank and position within his legion, However, this all would change. On his third tour of duty Marcus was assigned to the 8th Imperial Cohort Legion. His destination... Skyrim. Through the numerous attacks and operations Marcus had been involved in, non affected him more than the night of Sundas, the 25th of Frostfall. He was instructed to lead a 4 man squad into a Redoubt and eliminate the ever growing threat of the Forsworn. Arriving at the Redoubt Marcus had instructed his men to split into two seperate parties. Two of his men made their way to a peak armed with bows, the other two stayed with him sword in hand. When everyone was in position he ordered the assault and they charged towards enemy. With the power of arrow and steel Marcus and his legionnaires are successful in their attack and nine Forsworn lay dead at the edge of their blades. Now that they have defeated all possible threat, all that remains is twelve children and one women who looked to be their care taker. Marcus lined up all of the children and the women and instructed some of his men to keep an eye on them, he then sent another man to send word to the Legate that he had been successful and are awaiting further instruction. Hours later an imperial officer and his guard arrived. He was dressed head to toe in Imperial forged steel, gleaming with all its "glory". The Officer had approached Marcus and stated "Well done Tribune, I will take it from here." He then hands Marcus a note with the grand imperial seal stamped with red wax. "These are your outstanding orders, The Emperor expects them to be completed with great haste". Marcus then takes the note and stuffs it into his horses pack, he then turns to the officer and asks what he plans to do with the remaining women and children. The Officer replies with a smurk on his face "exactly this..." In that moment the officers guard surrounds the children, one guard takes his sword from his scabbard and gruesomely decapitates one of the children. Marcus enraged then reacts, He draws his sword and drives the cold steel through the officers skull. Marcus' men quickly react and break into combat to defend Marcus. one by one Marcus' men begin to fall. Marcus knowing that he would stand no chance, he mounted his horse and rode away leaving the children and what few men he had left to die. Now Marcus is 31, and ever since that incident he has been labeled enemy to Cyrodiil, and his head is wanted for crimes against the Emperor and his people. He now rides throughout Skyrim a wanted man, Watching his back everywhere he goes. Once a glorious hero. Now a criminal.
