The Akaviri warriors circled him and forced him to back away. Perhaps he should have heard what Kematu had to offer instead of charged ahead with his heroic plan. But then again he had always had a weakness for a beautiful woman in need.
Beast's golden eyes darted from one warrior to the next anticipating which would strike first. He held his trusty great sword before him defensively, his muscles twitching, ready for the strike.
Still he backed away for only a fool charged forwards blindly into a group of foes that out-numbered them. Their torches glared in his eyes and the smoke was beginning to make them water. But he would not blink.
Suddenly he felt his heel hit the unrelenting stone of the cavern wall and felt its cold touch at his back. The Akaviri saw their advantaged and lunged ahead, but they did not no their doom, for only the foolish corner an angry Beast.
