This looks to be just a few hours before dawn, with a bit of colour beginning to appear on the eastern horizon, by the College. This is the forlorn and tragic campsite by the deep-water "Pilgrim's Trench". Here, a sad note on that barrel beside the lean-to describes some poor man, waiting in vain unto his death for his lady-love to arrive by ship, not realizing that she was very near all this time....but at the sea-bottom just offshore, in the storm or ice-sundered wreck of her ship. Very sad.....but at least they are together now, for some small comfort. Endorsed. Thank you for this lovely but sad and cold portrait, sn4ggletooth. Cheers!
BTW: to get rid of the annoying ripple-lines in the sky, I use this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17130 It works for me.
