About this image

My character Kreindu'ul: The Last Dragonborn.

Origin:
4E 170- He was born into a Nord family that had emigrated to Cyrodiil for unknown reasons, and lived on the outskirts of the Imperial City. His parents named him Kreindu'ul, to honor the ancient Nords, but being surrounded by Imperials caused him to adopt the name Tiber Sun-Helm.

4E 176- After the end of the Great War, Talos worshipers were being hunted down all across the empire by the Thalmor. At the age of six, his parents were slaughtered and he was left on his own to survive the harsh Cyrodiilian underground. He lived as a beggar and a pickpocket, roaming the streets of the Imperial City and sleeping in the sewers in an abandoned goblin camp.

4E 189- At the age of eighteen, Tiber ventured away from the city and joined a group of marauders based in Northern Cyrodiil, in the Jerall Mountain region. He eventually came to lead the group and it became notorious for its raids on the nearby city of Bruma.

4E 201- When war broke out in Skyrim, Tiber and his band of highwaymen set up camp around the Pale Pass, charging a toll to the many travelers immigrating to Cyrodiil from the snowy province. A few months after setting up camp, he developed an ambitious plan to rob the coffers of Ulfric Stormcloak. Tiber and his fellow bandits donned Stormcloak uniforms and joined a group of soldiers crossing the border after a mission into the empire's heartland. The patrol was ambushed by Imperials and all of the bandits save for Tiber and his second in command, a Nord named Lokir, were killed. Waking up on a cart bound for Helgen, Tiber stuck to his Stormcloak cover story, whereas Lokir thought up a cover as a horse thief bound for Hammerfell, in the hopes to lesson his jail time. Tiber's story was seen through by Ralof, a fellow prisoner, and Lokir cracked when he realized they were to be executed, and when he tried to run he was shot down by Imperial archers. Accepting his fate, Tiber gave the Imperial captain Hadvar his proper name when asked, as he wanted to die a true Nord, as his parents did.

As luck would have it, Kreindu'ul did not die that day, and was destined to become one of Skyrim's most legendary historical figures, The Last Dragonborn.

I'm not the only one who writes these? Have an endorsement!

Really though, I liked this backstory, it uses parts of what's already presented in the game and weaves it together quite nicely. Now I feel like writing up the updated backstory of my own character...
