Backstory:

Wulfmare had always been a stormcloak, having served Ulfic's father till his untimely death and later served Ulfric when he became the Jarl of Windhelm. but 6 years after the great war and Ulfric's coronation, he retired and went to Whiterun to spend his time out on the plains and hunt wild game to honor his Lord hircine, It was here that he would meet his wife Eiruki Blood-Shield and later marry her.

4 years would pass and she would give birth to there first daughter Siri, and then the next year there second daughter Rayya.

Wulfmare and Eiruki taught and trained both there daughters in the way of fighting and hunting. They ensured there daughters became devote worshippers of Lord Hircine.

When Siri became 10 years old though Tragedy had struck. The Vigilants of Stendarr had learned of there family being worshippers of Hircine. The Vigilants called upon the legion to come and act as back up. Then they made there move busting down there cottage door grabbing the girls and holding swords to there necks to try and keep there parents at bay.

It didn't work though, Because it so enraged there father that he changed to a werebear and started attacking the vigilants and the legion killing those that had busted into the cottage and running out to kill the other vigilants and imperials.

Knowing the cottage was not safe, Eiruki gathered the girls and lead them out as her husband kept the imperials distracted. She lead them to the walls of Whiterun and into a crevice in the wall where a secret entrance to the underforge existed. She lifted them and had them hide in there and told them not to leave. If she didn't come back there would be a secret door that leads into Whiterun right to Jorrvaskr.

Eiruki then left to return to the cottage to help her husband. But when she got there she found him tied up and restrained with silver chains on his arms and legs and around his neck to prevent him from transforming again.

She watched them carefully and followed them from a distance, A week would pass as they traveresed the Jerrall mountains and into Bruma in Cyrodiil. Eiruki knew one thing about Bruma, it was the last stop before a party from Cyrodiil would make it into Skyrim Usually or a party from Skyrim makng it to the Imperial City.

Eiruki snuck into Bruma that night after the vigilants and the legion had taken her husband to the Bruma city dungeons. Thankfully due to her time as a hunter she knew abit about sneaking around. making her way into the castle and down to the jailors room and taking the key off him. She then further worked her way down into the dungeon where a set of legion guards were posted to guard there prisoner and ensure he didn't escape. She growled pulling out her bow, aiming and then firing at the first guard and then the second. She then ran over and opened her husbands cell door and undid the silver chains he had tied around him. And they both worked there way out of the cell till the reliefs came and saw them escaping. They yelled out getting all of Bruma's guards, the vigilants and the remaining legion troops there to head down there and fight them.

They would continue fighting till one Vigilant would stab Eiruki in the back with a silver sword. Wulfmare saw it, and killed the vigilant but knew there was no more time to fight, it was time to run, he picked up Eiruki and bashed through the remaining soldiers and ran, and ran as fast as he could out of the castle and even busting down Bruma's side gate as the soldiers on the walls fired at him in the dead of night. When he figured he had gotten far enough away he sat Eiruki down and started bandaging her wound and took a healing potion from her bag and let her drink it. Sadly the damage had been done when that silver sword went through her. Atleast the healing potion would help her not feel any pain.

He picked her back up and continued on through the night, Once he was sure they were far enough away he'd set up a small camp lighting a fire for Eiruki to keep warm as he would go using her bow and arrow and hunt. When he returned he cooked the deer and fed it to Eiruki and they would both talk for the last time, her asking of him to watch over there girls. He promised her he would and they both would fall asleep. For her it would be the final time

That morning when he awoke, he tried to wake Eiruki, but couldn't crying and begging but she just wouldn't. He knew it would happen, he didn't ever think it would happen so Soon. INstead of carrying on he gathered wood lots and lots of wood and would build a large fire pit and would set her body in the center. He would give a prayer to lord hircine to watch over her in his hunting grounds. He would then light a torch and and place the torch in the pit and would watch as Eiruki would be cremated.

Hours would pass but once she was all gone and the flames had died, he went in and gathered up the ashes into a bag and carried her the rest of the way into skyrim. He would return to Whiterun to there cottage, however the legion ensured nothing of the cottage survived having it burnt down. Nothing left there he went to Whiterun to find his daughters. He went up to Jorrvaskr and talked with Kodlak about what had happened and his wifes death. Kodlak was sympathetic to him but told him that they had sent the girls off to Honorhall Orphanage in Riften. They would have been willing to let the girls live in Jorrvaskr however Jarl Balgruuf would not allow it stating that times have changed since the great war, and due to this it was safe to send Orphans off to honorhall in riften.

Kodlak and even Vignar explained to him that with the empire and vigilants after him, it wasn't safe for him to stay in whiterun or to get the girls. The best thing he could do for them was to stay away so they would be safe.

He hated the advice, but understood it With no place else to go, he returned to Windhelm and had an audience with the Jarl he served for over 6 years and explained his situation to Ulfric. Ufric though not a fan of Daedra worship was enraged at this, the vigilants working with the Empire, and the Empire further stepping on the rights of Skyrim and her people by destroying there homes and destroying there family's.

Because of Wulfmare's service to Ulfric's father and his service to Ulfic, Ulfric offered him a permanent residence in the palace of the kings which Wulfarth accepted without question since he had no where else to go and he couldn't go and see his daughters.
