About this image
A scene from Dawnguard, which I'm enjoying immensely.
Taken with ugrids=11 (NOT recommended for gameplay on most rigs). I normally use ugrids of 5.
I use RCRN, Exterior Fog Revamped, and Enhanced Shaders and FX. I also use Better Dynamic Snow and WATER (medium res version). The Ice and snow are from Real Ice and Alternative Snow, respectively. Both were made by Yuril, and I use the 1k versions since my 768mb of vram isn't exactly bleeding edge.
My shadows are set to a distance of 10,000 at a resolution of 1024, with a biasscale at 0.6. Long-distance shadows matter more to me than clarity up close.
fTreesMidLODSwitchDist is at 8000, up from the vanilla 5000.
Everything else is vanilla ultra at 1080p, with FXAA. I don't use sampled AA if I can help it, because I find that FXAA looks better, is more compatible with varying engines, and runs more efficiently. In some games I run 2x MSAA, but at 1080p there's not a noticeable improvement from FXAA to sampled AA imo.
